Preliminary orders for the new Samsung Galaxy S25 series are now direct and will last until February 7th. As has become a tradition with these laminating, the benefits of pre-portion are a large part of the reason for improvement. But will you improve in a S25?
Our practical review It has our early verdict for the series. You can also look practical video For more of the Galaxy S25 trio.
of Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra It’s the only one with a camera improvement-the Ultra Wide Module now has a 50 MP sensor, from 12 MP to S20-S24 ultra. There is also Snapdragon 8 New Elite, whose ISP has more power to process the image. See Crash with the Galaxy S25 Ultra Camera against S24 Ultra For a preliminary view of how much change these improvements make.
Samsung slightly increased the screen (6.8 “to 6.9”) by weakening the frames, rounding the corners and added more durable Aror Gorilla 2 Protection (complete with antifiled clothing). The pen has also changed, returning to the pre-Galaxy Note9 as a fully passive device (no more wireless actions).
Do you Samsung Galaxy S25+ have reason to exist? of only improvement From last year it is the new chipset. Worse, Samsung teased the Galaxy S25 New Edge, which may be the next evolution of the Plus line – or even the S series as a whole. Here are our thoughts to From the time we spent with a prototype (Samsung has not yet announced when it is planned to launch Edge).
of Samsung Galaxy S25 It finally improved to 12 GB of RAM. But not for the base space 256 GB, let’s not go crazy much. He also has new chips, of course, and so on. Not even a slower -speed 25 W – nor UWB collision.
Good, to give Samsung a little merits, the S25 phones are 0.4 mm thinner than their ancestors and a few grams lighter as well (14 g in the case of ultra, not bad). This is fantastic, though we are not sure we would not have preferred a battery capacity increase.
Despite rumors on the contrary, the prices of the Galaxy S25 series remain the same as the S24 phones in most markets, although there are some exceptions, where there are small price increases. Some markets, like the US, have excellent trade agreements and additional benefits – here’s what US Samsung is offering. But in other markets the value of trade is less impressive.

Let’s start with the Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra, easily the greatest improvement of all three, with some valuable screen improvements (and a dubious S Pen). Are you thinking of buying S25 ultra?
What about the Samsung Galaxy S25+ – is it a good purchase or maybe you want to stop and see what it is about the S25 Edge?
Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S25 gives its main chipset more RAM to work than previous repetitions of the small phone S. and now the phone is even smaller! But is it worth your money?
