Nations fight with the night
Anto Kakas is part of our team tonight in the Olster Hall and spoke to Mark Siberbat about his decision to release the IBF Super-Preatweight title.
“Boxing is a business as well as sports,” Kakas told the BBC Sport Ni.
“I feel that this is a better decision to free myself for the future of my family and for my future to create a legacy in this sport and for my name to remember for great battles – so I think this is the right choice. “
When he was questioned about the prospect of fighting former world champion Lee Wood:
“It’s a name in the mix,” Kakas admitted.
“It seems not very secret, but there are several names in the mixture. I remain focused on everything that follows.”
