However, the Air Force did not directly comment on the decision, which an officer confirmed to the Reuters on the condition of anonymity.

Trump ordered to eliminate DEI programs

US President Donald Trump has issued several executive orders since taking over on Monday, including the demand to abolish the DEI programs.

Variety, equality and inclusion (DEI) programs aim to create opportunities for low -representing groups, including women and ethnic minorities. Supporters, large -scale democrats and advocates of civil rights argue that these initiatives address historical inequalities and systemic racism.

However, conservatives argue that the DEI programs are discriminatory, prioritize the identity of the group on merit, and have become the focal point of protest.

Reuters reported on Friday (January 24) that the new Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has asked the MPs that they oppose the use of breed as a factor when evaluating candidates for specific American military academies.

The Trump administration insisted on removing generals supporting DEI initiative in the army

The Trump administration and its supporters in the Congress argue that the US Army will also have to get rid of the generals who support the DEI initiative, which they say to divert attention from the war.

The American official revealed that a video about Tuskegi Airmen and other historical materials has been temporarily removed from the course as the Air Force is reviewing its training program in joint base San Antonio-Lacketland, a feature that new Provides basic training to recruits.

Reacting to this, the Air Force said in a statement that it is committed to fulfill the orders of Trump.

A spokesman for the Air Force said, “The Air Force Department will fully execute and implement all the instructions mentioned in the executive orders issued by the President, ensuring that they will be made in accordance with excessive professionalism, efficiency and national security objectives.”
