Deep Silver just launched Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on PC. Powered by Cryengine, this new RPG in the first person is a game that many PC gamers are waiting for. So, can the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 manage it smoothly in your native 4K? Let’s understand.

For these initial tests, we used the AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3d with 32 GB DDR5 at 6000MHz and NVIDIA RTX 5090. We also used Windows 10 64-bit and the GeForce 57216 driver. In addition, we have deactivated the second CCD of our 79 79 our 795 CCDs. This is the perfect thing you can do for games on this particular processor.

The Kingdom of Ella: Deliverance 2 does not have a built -in guidance tool. So, for our tests, we used the first open world zone (immediately after Prologue’s mission). This area was more demanding than the prologue. So, this has to give us a pretty good idea of ​​how the rest of the game goes.

Although Kingdom comes: Deliverance 2 supports NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR, it has no support for Frame Gen. This is a boom as the game would take advantage of it, especially in cities where there is a lot of NPC. However, the good news for the owners of the RTX50 series is that NVIDIA has already added a game profile for it to the NVIDIA app. And yes, you can activate a smooth movement for it.

In Native 4K with max settings (called experimental), the NVIDIA RTX 5090 is able to start the game at over 65 frames per second at any time. The prologue walked at over 90 frames per second. However, the open world area was an average of 75 frames per second (at a minimum of 65 frames per second). With the quality of 4K DLSS, we were able to approach up to 100 frames per second.

As you will see, at 100 frames per second, our AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3D was used most. All our CPU nuclei/threads were maximum. And so I say that this game will benefit from the older Frame Gen processors. There may be major problems that run it at 60 frames per second with experimental settings. Yes, you can lower the settings, but Frame Gen would be the perfect feature for these cases.

Anyway, we’ll talk more about the performance of the game in our upcoming computer performance analysis. At first glance, the game does not seem to suffer from any start. So this is certainly good news for everyone.

So I tried smooth movement and this is a must for those with high -end graphic processors. Currently, only the RTX50 graphics processors support it, but in the future it will also work on the RTX40 Series graphics processors. So, it will be interesting to see if Warhorse will add support for DLSS 3 FG until then.

With a smooth movement, the KCD2 was moving at over 120 frames per second with an experimental settings of the RTX 5090. However, during the rapid movement of the mouse, I could notice some annoying artifacts with the crossbar. The good news is that you can significantly reduce them by starting DLS in quality mode. And in my opinion, this is the best way to play the game right now. Not only can you play at 160+FPS, but there are also no large visual artifacts. Plus, I couldn’t notice any major latency problems.
