QuikTrip Expands to Nevada with New Travel Center in Las Vegas

QuikTrip opened its first location in Nevada on Thursday, at Vegas the market.

The travel center, at 5625 N. Lamb Blvd., in North Las Vegas is along Interstate 15 at Exit 50. With the opening of the Las Vegas travel center, QuikTrip now operates more than 1,000 locations in 19 states.

“We are excited to bring QuikTrip’s signature commitment to quality and efficient service to the state of Nevada and the entertainment capital of the world,” said QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager Aisha Jefferson. “Our travel center model will provide a clean and friendly stop for locals and tourists, and we are eager to become part of the Las Vegas community.”

The c-store chain’s new travel center features a larger lot and a more spacious store design than a traditional QuikTrip and has room to service 20 gas vehicles and six diesel pits for trucks. The new store employs about 24 people.

The location features a full-service kitchen with fresh, made-to-order food and grocery options, including breakfast tacos, wood-smoked barbecue sandwiches, iced coffee and frozen meals such as QuikShake and QuikTrip. Fresh doughnuts, sub sandwiches, wraps, pizza by the slice and grill items are also available.

Nevada isn’t the only state seeing unit growth for the c-store operator. QuikTrip on December 5th opened its doors to him new stores in Colorado and South Carolina.
