Medical plane built an 8-foot pit after crashing in Philadelphia


Officials in Philadelphia say they are in close contact after a medical plane accident with the Mexican Consulate who was carrying Mexican citizens.

In less than a minute, a Mexico-bound air ambulance jet that departed from Philadelphia on Friday night, before it crashed into the ground, and climbed 1,500 feet before leaving the 8-foot pit. The upcoming fire balls set several houses on fire in the area, as the debris was scattered for five blocks.

According to the National Transport Safety Board, all six Mexican citizens of the flight died, including a little girl, who had just received life-saving medical treatment, and her mother.

Philadelphia Mayor Cherael Parker said at a press conference, “Our city mourns their loss and they are in our thoughts and prayers.”

Parker said 22 people were injured by an accident on the ground, as well as another who was killed in their car.
