Mark Williams expresses disappointment, accepts accountability in the loss against Lakers

Mark Williams and Charlotte Hornets He did not return to a dramatic return last night. Leaving 20 at the end of the first quarter, Hornets made a game from him just to fall by five when the final whistle broke out. This was despite the loss of a lamelo ball in the second quarter.

Williams believes that physicality was missing early, especially on his part. In the first quarter, Anthony Davis had 21 points and 11 struggles, and Williams never came close to reaching these sums throughout the game. Davis played as a center of All-Nba and that made a big difference in the result.

Mark Williams had full hands with Anthony Davis and felt he wasn’t doing a good job to put a tone in defense. He believes that the entire Hornet’s team was not so strictly protected from the gate, but it is reduced to its implementation. “We didn’t have the physicality we had to start. It starts with me,” he reasoned after the match. “I have to do better work than the game with a little more aggression without letting them go into a stream, especially (Anthony Davis).”

Williams enjoyed a really brilliant stretch of game, but also offensive and defensive, Davis was a great challenge. He was an average of 23 points per game in his last six until he scored 11 in 13 shots. Now all eyes for Hornets turn to a ball that has again suffered another ankle injuryS If it can’t be back soon, Williams will have to carry even more than the load with a ball and Brandon Miller outside the lineupS
