The difficult evening of Charlotte Hornets at home against Los Angeles Lakers turned to the worse, as the star keeper Lamelo Ball was injured during his defeat 112-107.
Ball left the game in the second quarter with a left ankle and did not return. The injury happened after he struck in a 3-indicated one and gave up defense as I turned his left ankle.
The absence of Lamelo turned out to be a great failure for the hosts who could not cause a return. Anthony Davis was irresistible to Lakers, scoring 42 points and grabbing 23 rebounds.
Ball, which was a bright place for Hornets this season, played only 9 minutes, scoring 7 points before the failure of the injury. Despite the rough season of Charlotte (12-31), the 23-year-old is an average of 28.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists per match.

Hornets head coach Charles Lee provided an update to the injury after the match and said that the medical team was still appreciating the degree of his injury, but the young guard looked in great spirits in the dressing room.
“I went here quite quickly afterwards, so I know they still make some evaluation,” Lee said. “I think he shot the ball, supported to get back to the defense, and stepped back. We’ll see what happens tomorrow when he comes to treatment and other things, but he did wonderfully as he was in the dressing room and married when the boys got off the court, ” said Lee.
Hornets fans will hope for positive news about the injury of the Ball as they prepare to face the Brooklyn networks on Wednesday, January 29th.
