The investigators are looking for pieces of the remaining aircraft from a small aircraft falling near a Philadelphia Shopping Center on Friday night, killing all six people and one was on the ground.
On Saturday evening, Chairman of the National Transport Safety Board Jennifer Homendi said that the authorities have recovered two engines from the aircraft, but the voice recorder from the cockpit, usually called a black box, remains missing.
“We’re still looking for it. It may be intact but there is a possibility that it is too – it is damaged. It may be fragmented,” he said in a press conference.
Homendi said that officers can still complete their investigation without a recording device, but it is an important piece and its place is “the biggest question right now.” He also said that the black box color of the aircraft was orange.
Friday night, a child’s patient, child’s mother, two medical personnel and two pilots – a medical transport jet carrying all Mexican citizens – ET crashed at around 6:30 pm immediately after flying from Northeast Philadelphia Airport Done. The aircraft was the route for Missouri.
A person was also killed inside a car at the time of the accident, Philadelphia Mayor Cherail Parker confirmed at a press conference on Saturday.

Thiel said the area of effect was about four to six blocks, but the debris was widespread and authorities are still assessing which areas were affected.
“It is possible that if you are not here anywhere, then somewhere between this place and the Northeast Airport, you can go out and find something in your yard,” he said.
Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board will lead the investigation.
