January 2025 was like PC Nerd Christmas. Or it had to be. But then nvidia starts RTX 5090 and RTX 5080And everything got terribly wrong. Soon it will not be improved soon, at least not, if the words of one of the best retailers in the UK for this type of product are something that needs to be passed.
Online stocks for both graphics cards went almost instantly. There were tragically cheerful reports from people who are arranged in physical stores to be greeted with signs that say there are only four RTX 5090S in stock.

The short version is that it can be 16 weeks before filling the RTX 5090 stocks and up to 6 weeks for the RTX 5080. Pre -orders that are already placed but not executed now are in line and there are no additional pre -orders They will be taken while existing existing and there is more clarity about the presence of these things.
Of course, 3-16 weeks is a big window, but besides potential gloom, it also shows how incredibly uncertain the whole situation is. This start is nothing but a disaster and I have to doubt why NVIDIA has passed with it at all?
Who took advantage? Nvidia has not made many of these graphic processors, so it’s not like Jenson Huang to make her best performance at Scrooge McDuck. Is an old friend “first” or just ordinary arrogance and neglect of consumers?
It is really shameful that cryptocurrency scalpers are no longer our enemy and yet it is so brutal. The competitor, AMD, has a golden opportunity to take advantage, but, alas, the smallest radeons are never seen anywhere.
My advice? Give up. At least for the immediate future. We will do our best to inform Where and when can you buyBut while stock problems are not properly sorted, is it really worth the effort and powerless?
