A free event at the Milwaukee District War Memorial Center on Saturday provided mental health information and services to veterans and their families.

The Veteran’s suicide Task Force in Southeast Wisconsin organized the third “Frost Fest” “Frost” in partnership with the Memorial Center of War.

Resources tables for veterans covered a variety of health services. There was information available on the benefits of va, housing, mental health, counseling, recovery, service dogs, homelessness and more.

“Many veterans are not good at asking questions or seeking help, so sometimes when they come here they see a festive environment,” said Sean Clark, director of the Memorial War Center program. “It is a perfect place for veterans who ask some of their questions answered that they may not ask them normally.”

Sellers offered arts, crafts, games and more-involved acupuncture on the country and other holistic services.
