Dave portnoy heartbroken on unexpected death of barsstool employee

A young Barstool employee died at the age of 28, the founder of Barstool Sports, Deve Portnoy, revealed on Thursday.

According to Portnoy, IGA Obrika, general manager of Bestool Nashville, died this week “suddenly” died.

An online obitary said The Obrika died in Nashville on Wednesday and no cause of death was given.

“IGA originally drove our bar group for us,” Portnoy wrote on X“If you ever went to Barstool Nashville, you probably saw her there. I must have hired her for any situation in our company as she was that smart and operated. Just incredibly depressed news and another cruel reminder has not been taken for a minute. RIP Ega. ,

In addition to her role with Barstool Nashville, according to her social media, she was the Chief Marketing Officer in the Stanton and Bowery Hospitality Group.

Obrika came to the United States in the early 2000s after being born in Poland.

He was picked up in New York City and transferred to Nashville in 2020, reported Daily Mail, and spent nearly nine years working for the TAO group hospitality.

After going to Nashville, he eventually opened the Bestool Nashville in 2023.

She was also praised as a “lamp of kindness and generosity” and that her “sudden passing made a deep empty space in every soul, with which she came in contact with.”
