Cooper Flag made a dominant entrance on Saturday night at Unc-Duke’s rivalry.
The prospective best selection of NBA draft of NBA 2025 recorded 21 points, as # 2 Duke travels to winning 87-70 above the visit of North Carolina.
He and his colleague freshman horse Knupel, who led the team with 22 points, helped the Blue Devils extend their victorious series to 15 straight matches.
Flagg set the tone early when he scored nine points in the first five minutes to help Duke on the track for the 22-point lead from the first half.
Flag turned out to be impossible for UNC’s defenders to cover as the game continues.
He finished the night after shooting 6-14 on the pitch and 3-for-5 at the back.
The flag led the blue devils with both eight rebounds and seven assists, while adding three thefts and two blocks to a static line that reflected its dominance on both sides of the court.

Anything I can say in 45 years @ESPN I haven’t seen a player as young as @Cooper_flagg So skillful – he is in his own world – he is so good!
The performance reinforced the opinion of some fans that Flag had already stopped the debate about who should be the selection # 1 in the upcoming NBA project.
Flag, who turned 18 on December 21, was appointed as the second youngest college player ever chosen if he enters the draft, according to ESPN Jonathan GivoniS

And that’s why Cooper Flag is the number one choice !!!#Duke
RJ Davis and Drake Powell have tied to the UNC team with 12 points each in the loss. Tar Heels fell to 13-10 in general and 6-5 in the conference.
Meanwhile, Duke has improved to 19-2 as a whole and 10-0 in ACC. The Blue Devils remain behind the first place in the AP men’s basketball chart.
Tigers face opponents, including No. 5 Florida and No. 4 Alabama in the next two weeks. If Obun lost a second game, Duke could have been given the chance to challenge place # 1 as March Madness approaches.
The Blue Devils are back in action on Wednesday for a road game against Syracuse. Before Flagg is potentially entering the draft, Duke will also look for Knueppel to lead the way into a potential NCAA tournament.
