Concert Benefits of Fireid to host Nirvana Reunion, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash Collaboration, Stevie Wonder with Sting and Flea, plus Joni Mitchell, John Mayer, Stevie Nicks and many more
After a historic forest fire that destroyed the Los Angeles area which was larger just a few weeks ago, the music community was united to fight for recovery for one of its centers. Last night, countless efforts of artists and organizers were realized with Fireid, a charity -studded charity that lit a dark city from the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome. Presented by Live Nation Partners, AEG and Azoff Family, 27 ACT bills surpassed high hopes with guest star litani, unprecedented collaboration and just one night from the biggest names in music.
With a line full of proud locals, the five and a half -hour Fireid program maintains a solemn mood but firm when musicians and presenters offer personal reflections about the city they like and the path in front. Separation between the two places that are proud of, this event is liked by Rock and forums and eclectic pop combinations in Intuit Dome, together with representing the past of rich Los Angeles music, now and the future.
The concert at Intuit Dome began a little slower than his colleague one mil away, and the fans in the arena witnessed the first action from the place of Billie Eilish guests with Green Day on “Last Night On Earth” and Anderson. Paak’s sit -ins from Sheila E and Dr. Dre for “California Love” -Live on the Halo Council. At 8:30 pm, Rod Stewart started the show then with a soft “Maggie May”, “then gave a way for Earth, Wind & Fire who was lively about” That is the Way of the World “and” September “which lifts” hearts of fire “like which can only be done by Pathbreakers R&B 55 years.
Pop and top-topping stars such as Gracie Abrams, Tate Mcrae, Jelly Roll, Katy Perry and Lil Baby were followed in Dome’s intuit before shouting the set of local sensations Olivia Rodrigo, Ambassador Latin Peso Pluma, Eilish Acoustic and Police Frontman, Police, Police, Police Police, who shares “message in a bottle,” “pushed into crying water” and his emotional solo cut “fragile.” Stevie Wonder climbed to the stage as the second action from behind that night and maintaining a sad tone but aroused this spirit with “love that requires love today,” then tore the songs “superstitious” and “higher land” supported by guests The stinging and lice.
Lady Gaga finally closed the intuit dome program with The star was born The “shallow” that is prominent and original written exclusively for the benefits of the benefits. “When I think about what to sing tonight, I think I want to do something full of hope,” he explained to the crowd of Starstruck. “Me and my friend Michael, my fiance, my love, we wrote this song for you. This is only for tonight. That’s only for you. “
Back at the forum, fans were treated to a rare show from Joni Mitchell, who appeared with a smaller version than the same Joni band that supported his October performance at Hollywood Bowl; The legendary singer Laurel Canyon sent cold through the stadium with “both sides now.” Although the 81-year-old icon is not easy to follow, Dawes keeps the spirit of wholehearted from his set alive with “the time spent in Los Angeles,” where Taylor and Goldsmith’s brothers and sisters, both They are for fire, channeling knowledge and nuances for their city.
Dawes continued by saluting the history of Los Angeles music with the cover of Buffalo Springfield “For What’s Worth,” was strengthened by the appearance of special guests from original members Stephen Stills and The Heartbreakers’ Mike Campbell. Legendary stills remain on stage after set for their own actions and making history by welcoming the former band and collaborator of Graham Nash. Caused by a crisis at home and the power of the stars that was extraordinary that night, the rare reunion of the couple raised the warm treatment of Crosby, Stills & Nash’s “Teach your children well.”
After a set of P! Nk, who chose to release his typical high -flying stage theater to destroy the cover of “Me & Bobby McGee” and LED Zeppelin “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You,” John Mayer stepped into the spotlight for A Solo Set which was originally planned as a duet with Dave Matthews. Mayer, a supporter of a known Solo Acoustic Stadium, is proven more than being able to captivate his own crowd with a slow and strong cover than Tom Petty “Free Fallin ‘.”
The Black Crowes served the second classic Zeppelin that night with a sandy cover and muscular “Going to California” which featured Slash, then John Fogerty peeked back into the Creedence Clearwater Revival catalog with “Have you ever seen the rain?” And Gwen Stefani-Fronted is undoubtedly stepping for Socal Essential “Just a Girl.” When Stevie Nicks stepped for his set, he gave one of the most touching personal statements that night when he remembered the view of the fire that flowed to his house at home and expressed his extraordinary gratitude to the firefighters who saved him. In honor of them, he issued the “landslide” performance that touched the heart.
The second set until the last in the forum brought another historic reunion when Dave Grohl, Pat Smear and Krist Novoselic Recateksi last last to remember Nirvana. Classic that has long disappeared from basic grunge clothing is completed by a rotating vocalist actor: St. Vincent led “Breed,” Kim Gordon sang “school,” Joan Jett tore “Territorial Parks” and Princess Grohl Violet led “all apologies.” After this shocking surprise set, there was no better band to close the previous venue love letter To Los Angeles rather than Red Hot Chili Peppers, who shared “Dani California,” and “Californication” and “Under the Bridge” to send the crowd to the night.
All donations driven by Fireid – including the initial promise of $ 1 million from U2 – matched by the owner of Clippers Steve Ballmer and his wife Connie Snyder, and all results from that night will go to the charity 501 (C) (3) made for events. This fund will be divided between the mission rebuilding some of more than 16,000 structures destroyed by fire, supporting people who are displaced and injured by flames, and develop new protection steps to prevent future disasters.
