Buffer He has officially confirmed that the Wrath of the Machine raid will not return to Destiny 2 soon, giving priority to the new content.
Since the Bungie began to restore classic raids of destination 1 in Fate 2The community has been patiently waiting to see the return of the favorite raid by fans Wrath of the Machine. The demand for these repeated raids has been constantly high, especially after the successful revenge of the Vault of Glass, King’s Fall and Crota’s End.
Many players have hoped that Wrath of the Machine, icon attack from the Rise Iron Iron Expansion of Destiny 1, would eventually enter Destiny 2. However, so far, Bungie has been silent on the matter, leaving the community nothing else except speculation.
Unfortunately, recent comments from the leader of the Bungie global community seem to suggest that fans may have to wait much longer than expected.
The latest update came from an interaction on X (Twitter), where a user, Gabbe95, jokingly asked the leader of the global Bungie community, Dylan Gaffner If the Wrath of the Machine raid would return in 2025. Gafner repliedSaying, “Magic Topi 8 – is not likely to be soon. I have new things to focus. ”
This direct response confirms that the raid is not in the immediate planet of Bungie, as the team is giving priority to the new content for future extensions of Codenames Apollo and Behemoth, instead of revising older activities.
This matches a Recent report by The Game Post. In 2024, we reported that Bungie did not plan to restore the Wrath of the Machine raid on Destiny 2 in the near future. Unlike other repeated raids, this requires unique assets – as fallen enemies injected by SIVA and specific meetings – that would require considerable time and resources, something that Bungie did not have two rounds of work year passed.
With the current focus of Bungie on future extensions and the new annual release schedule, the Wrath of the Machine seems to have been overlooked at the moment. Speaking of Wrath of the Machine, Bungie confirmed that Coded Name of Destiny 2: Frontiers extensions will be Similar in size and extension with Iron Iron of Destiny 1.
In other destiny 2 news, the bungie is preparing for Discover the last episode of The Final Shapetitled heresy. This highly expected episode marks the return of the dreadnaught iconic destination by the expansion of Destiny 1, The Taken King.
Planned for publication on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Heresy promises a range of new contents, including new activities, weapons, armored forces, A whole new artifact and much more.
What do you think about the Bungie’s decision to focus on new content instead of the Wrath of the Machine reappearance? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
