Boxing tonight: Benavidez Vs. Morrell – Live results

David Benavides (30-0, 24 CO) focused on an unpopular 12-round unanimous solution for WBA’s “regular” lightweight heavyweight champion David Morel (11-1, 9 CO) of T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada S

Morel released a tired looking Benavides strongly in the 11th round with a beautiful right hook check after defeating the daytime running lights from him. Moments later, the referee punished Morel to strike after the bell in a very, very strange-looking move.

The results were 115-111, 115-111 and 118-108.

Benavides was allowed to fight his trunks, pulled to his ribs, a fierce style that looked screaming. It was surprising that the referee did not instruct him to correct them.

Results:

Former WBC/WBO Super Bantamweight Champion Steven Fulton (23-1, 8 kos) Excluded WBC heavyweight champion Brandon Figueroa (25-2-1, 19 kos) to win a 12-round unanimous decision in their rematch in the cooperation match.

Unlike his first match four years ago in 2021, this one was not near. Fulton improved his game, an outgoing and hovering sluggish -looking Figueroa. The results of the judges were 116-112, 116-112, 117-111.

Considering how boring this battle was, PBC had to put it near the bottom of the card, where it would not get that much attention because it was difficult to watch. Fans had paid $ 79.95 for the event tonight and the fight like Fulton-Figueroa was not good if promoters wanted to continue to encourage people to buy their events.

Heavy heavyweight Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz (27-3-1, 18 CO) Fight well tonight, surpassing Angel Fiero (23-3-2, 18 CO) to win a unanimous decision in 10 rounds.

Cruz was on an attack throughout the match, landing hard powerful shots in Fierro’s head and body. The Mexican stroke, Fiero, answered the shots well, but he didn’t have the same pop in his blows. The results of the judges were 96-94, 97-93 and 98-92.

Junior Jesus Ramos -Jr. (22-1-1, 18 ko) made his way with former united 154 pound champion Jason Rosario (24-5-, 18 Cos He received the knockout.

The referee stopped him because the 29 -year -old Rosario was processed by Ramos, Jr. It was not a fun battle, as Rosario seemed fluffy, afraid to throw away from Ramos not to be registered.

Weight Mirko neck (15-0, 12 CO) beat Christian Olivi (25-2-1, 9 CO) from a knockout of the tenth round in a battle he was losing. It was a wild return from the Argentine Cuelo, as it was lagging behind in the indicators of judges in the ten -round. He released Olivo twice with left hooks to the body.

The referee waved it after the second blow. The official stopping time was at 2:01 out of the ten round. Olivo had demolished Quel in the second round with his right hand to his head, and he controlled the action until the championship.

It was a mistake from Olivo to focus on the shots of the body at the expense of landing above, as he handled his left hooks and right hands early to Queel’s head.

Quelo looked pretty beaten at the end of the match. His face was marked and swollen by the heavy hooks he had landed.

Average perspective Joenli Hernandez 7-0, 7 CO) dominated a difficult but limited angel Ruis Astor (18-4-1, 13 CO), knocked him down in the fifth round with power strikes. The referee, Al Huggins, pulled the plug into the battle as Ruise was too much punishment from Hernandez on the ropes. The time was at 1:06.

Light perspective Curmel Moton (7-0, 6 CO) ate a ton of brutal powerful shocks from Frank Payr (5-2, 3 CO), but went in to insert TKO from the third round. The 18 -year -old brace was unleashed on the Cuban Gulf with a storm of shots after supporting him against the ropes in the third. Then the Harvey Doc referee stopped the battle. The official stopping time happened at 1:51 of the third round.

A brace will have to make a lot of improvements to his game for him to shoot a world title one day. What is disturbing, except for the tiny 5’3 ″ of a brace and the lack of protection is its weight. Unless it becomes higher, it will be too small to fight at 140 or 147. For the occasional cases that although the brace will be the next Davis Gervona, it is now obvious that he is not this type of talent.

The accumulation of the battle angered Benavides because he is not accustomed to face a real threat, and the Cuban Morel puts real.

The Monster Benavides was not a happy camper around the former Cuban amateur star, shaking his Hollywood movie star and self -confidence.

Benavides does not seem to like that Morel has taken attention from him, that he feels that he deserves after 12 years proven against a handful of old former champions.
