The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship on Sunday night, a 55-point performance fueled by rushing touchdowns from unstoppable Saquon Barkley and signal caller Jalen Hurts.
But rookie Will Shipley also had a score, the first of his NFL career. It started with explosive 57-yard run to the red zoneand finished with a short TD rush. As it happened throughout the season, Barkley was very excited for his fellow Eagle and made sure to come to the sideline for congratulations.

Barkley also offered advice to Shipley during his post-match comments.
“I want to say hello to Will Shipley,” Barkley said. βHe came in, finished it strong. We talk in the back room about making plays … Will stepped up for us.”
The Eagles now head to Super Bowl LIX, their first championship appearance since losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023.
