Ho Chi Minh City Leader paid tribute to German President Horst Kohaler late


The deputy chairman of Van Van Hon of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee paid tribute to late German President Horst Kohaler on 7 February at the Mahavantan General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ho Chi Minh City.

Here, the deputy chairman of Van Van Hon of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee expressed his deep condolences on the passage of Horst Kohlar, who served as German President from 2004-2010 on 1 February 2025.

Writing his memory in the condolence book, Ho Chi Minh City Leader expressed his respect and honor for the important contribution of the departed German President in promoting deep friendship and Vietnam-Germany relations.

On behalf of the government and the people of Ho Chi Minh City, the vice -president of Van Van Hon of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee expressed the deepest condolences to the Federal Republic of Germany and the late German President’s family.
