As Restless has another game in the works, it seems Stardew Valley is still the main focus of the developer. Stardew Valley is a seemingly forever popular cozy sim game that has players farming, making friends, fighting monsters, and all the other usual cozy game shenanigans—and it was made by one man, aka Eric Barone.
According to an interview with NPR, about Celebeape started making the game after he graduated from college, and he hasn’t stopped since — and likely never will. Stardew Valley was released in 2016 and has been going strong ever since. Over eight years later, Conchedape is still dropping updates, including a major 1.6 update recently that brought in even more players. And this apparently isn’t the last update – not even close.
Conceredape confirms Stardew Valley updates for life
“I will always want to go back”
Concerned has described Stardew Valley like a dream game. It’s the kind of game he’s always wanted to play, and it doesn’t look like he ever plans to get sick of it. Not when it comes to playing it or updating it.
While talking to NPR all things consideredThe host brought up that he has previously said he felt a “sense of duty” to continue the game. Concerned agreed that he listens to fans and their criticisms and wants to give them the best experience possible. This is not because of a desire to sell more copies, but because there are people out there who have “fallen in love” with the world he created.
Worried, he admitted that the game might have “too much content” at some point, which would cause him to stop, but he has no plans to give up on the game just yet. Actually, he said that He will add “a thing or two” for the next 50 years.
He said:
“I love creating things. I don’t think I’ll ever retire. I think it would be funny to release an update when I’m, like, 90 — if I live that long. Let’s hope so.”
No word on Haunted chocolate In this interview, another cozy RPG that disturbed has announced years back. However, recently there was confirmation that the game is still working.
