Shields He raised confidence before her heavyweight battle on the world title on Sunday, excluding her opponent Daniel Perkins to win.
The American, who cuts his gwoat or “the greatest woman of all time,” seeks to become an undeniable world champion in three different weight classes, exceptional achievement.
“If Daniel does not hold her hands up, she will be placed on her back pockets,” Shields told Patrick Sun on CNN before the match.
The 29-year-old still holds an unbeaten professional record with 15-0 before her fight against Perkins, who is also proud of an unbeaten record, though only with five wins. Shields already won a world title in five different divisions.
She will now face Perkins for the undisputed world heavyweight title in Flint, Michigan – Shields’ hometown, who participates in the Fire Inside, a recently launched biography depicting her upbringing.
“After you have your movie all over the world … Then you go home and fight in Flint, it makes no sense to go anywhere else at this time,” Shields said.
The fight of Shields and Perkins will be broadcast live on DAZN as part of the main map, which will start at 7.30pm ET.
Testament for the confidence he possesses, Shields also told CNN that he could beat a boxer turned into YouTuber Jake Paul Let alone against her opponent Perkins, if there is a similar battle between a man and a female boxer.
“Jake Paul can’t beat me in battle,” said Patrick’s American boxer Sun on CNN. “Anyone who thinks that this should just go and brush their face and brush their teeth and wake up and smell the real air in the world.
“I’m not a little woman and I’m very good. Boxing as a man. I don’t think Jake Paul would accept the battle with me, which I think is cool. But if he ever wants to get into the ring and spar, I could teach him a few things because I don’t have to worry about Jake Paul. It grows and improves as a fighter, but it is only levels. ”
Although Shields is four inches short from Perkins, she enters this match as the prevailing favorite to claim another title.
Becoming an undeniable heavyweight title will mark the latest achievement in Shields’ career, which began back in 2012, when she won an Olympic gold medal at only 17 years old. Since then, she has helped change the boxing of women.
“Now I have the feeling that the world is ready for me,” Shields said. “I can support my sponsorships, people support me … People understand that boxing is not just a sport for a man, it’s a sport and that women can be passionate about what they do.”
