Celtic v Dundee scrapped but Ross County v Hibs goes ahead

Celtic’s home premiership match with Dundee has been postponed due to storm damage at Celtic Park.

The game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 5.

Ross County V Hibernian were given the green light following a pitch inspection on Saturday morning at the Dingwall ground.

The League One match between Arbroath and Kelty Hearts was called off on Friday following damage at Gayfield Park.

“Unfortunately, due to the stadium damage sustained yesterday, we have been advised that we cannot go ahead with today’s game,” top flight leaders said.

“While this is obviously disappointing, the safety of our supporters will always be our priority.”

Meanwhile, Greenock Morton general manager Dale Priede-McDonald confirmed there was “significant damage” to Cappielow Park.

Morton are scheduled to be away from home on Saturday against second-tier opponents Queen’s Park, and Pryde-Macdonald said “a full and accurate assessment of the damage will be carried out in the coming days”.
