Attacking midfielder Kenza Daly has left Aston Villa for US club San Diego Wave on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 33-year-old was left out of Villa’s squad for their Women’s Super League draw with Everton last Saturday and confirmed her departure in social media post, external the next day.
The France playmaker has scored nine goals in 66 appearances for Villa since joining Everton in 2022.
There is a villa thank Dali, external of her time at the club and said they “wish her all the best in her next chapter”.
The San Diego Wave are managed by former Arsenal boss Jonas Eideval, who was appointed as Casey Stoney’s permanent replacement in January.
The National Women’s Soccer League season begins March 14.
Villa, meanwhile, play Manchester City in the WSL at 12:00 GMT on Saturday.
