A instructor and his student is destroyed in a training flight

Thursday, November 21, a twinning plane diamond aircraft DA42 crashed immediately after flying at Bennsalimen Airport around 10 am. The device, used as part of Royal Air (FRA) training, transported an instructor and a student. None of the two survived.

Famous for the aircraft, its aeronautical training performance, was operated by the FRA instruction Center to prepare the future Morocco line drivers. The exact circumstances of the accident are unknown. An investigation was opened by Royal Genderry in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Safety (BEA) in collaboration with the Office of Investigation and Analysis.

This tragic accident highlights a structural pilot training program, began thanks to a partnership between the National Defense and the Royal Air Marok (RAM) administration. Since 2020, aspirational pilots are following the two -step courses: military and theoretical training in Marrakech, then practical training in Bansalimen.

Diamond Aircraft DA42, used in these training courses, is an Austrian Bimotor aircraft especially popular for its low operating costs and advanced technology. Working with diesel or kerosene, it provides remarkable energy efficiency, in addition to being a reference model in training of professional pilots worldwide.

Officials supported by BEA experts continued their investigation on the crash website. If the reasons are yet to be determined, this accident recalls the challenges of aeronautical training and the importance of security in one area where every detail matters.
