I saw the new DLSS 4 in action of NVIDIA on the RTX 5090 and this is a real change of game – that’s why

  • DLSS 4 is about to change the game for all RTX GPU users
  • SUPER RESOLUTION performance mode saw a significant impetus in terms of image quality and clarity
  • The smearing and ghost of the generation of the frame is reduced

After his long -awaited disclosure of CES 2025., NvidiaRTX 5090 and 5080 graphics cards have already officially launched, which has opened a gateway to improve performance in numerous gaming games with a higher power and better generate frames in the last generation of the RTX 4000 series -but from what I saw first after Sitting with Team Green in his Reading office, his most enhanced improvements stem from his work on DLSS 4.

DLSS 4 is now available to all RTX GPU with title support as Cyberpunk 2077., Alan Wake 2and Hogwarts Legacy – But a new feature, DLSS Override, allows users to use DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation (the last of which is exclusive to the RTX 5000 Series GPU) in games that still do not have native support. Although it’s great to hear, you may be wondering why DLSS 4 gets so much praise from other users (and me).

A new era of increasing faithfulness

I personally did not review RTX 5090 For Techradar, but now I saw DLSS 4 in action working on GPU thanks to the NVIDIA press invitation, I can tell you that the new DLSS 4 Transformer model is a real change of game. With the previous CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) model for the older versions of DLSS, ghosts and smearing were a big problem and part of the reason why many worry about increasing the scale to become a quick solution for game developers (which still I believe it is true to a degree) -but with this new transformer model, the likes of the DLSS 4 performance mode are visually nominal, if not better than the quality mode of DLSS 3 (although there is a smaller internal resolution).

This is obviously in gif up the display Alan Wake 2 (And in Nvidia’s video below), along with my first tests in Spiderman of Marvel 2 on a computer, despite its current missing and stability problems (based on Current steam reviews), since the results were consistent – for once, I could actually use DLSS performance mode without feeling disgusted with light – but noticeable – the quality of a blurred image with flicker and ghosts in each sequence. All this is possible thanks to the new AI model transformer, which significantly increases the clarity and stability of the image, especially on the move, with the title of Insomniac taking advantage of the NVIDIA Reconstruction feature.
