Stand-up comedian died at the age of 28


Stand-up comedian Ken Floreswho started a National tour Earlier this month, had died. He is 28 years old.

Comedian, born Kenyi Flores, died on Tuesday, according to online records from Medical examiner Los Angeles County Reviewed by USA Today. The cause of death is not given.

The Flores family lamented his death on Wednesday at A Statement posted to Instagram.

“With great sad we confirm the death of our friends, relatives and sons who are not on time, Kenyi Flores,” the statement said. “Please respect our current privacy because we are all surprised and destroyed by this loss.”

USA Today has reached Flores representatives for additional information.

The native of Chicago got the initial comedy in his teenage times by posting videos on YouTube, with several clips to become viral WorldstarhiphopAccording to Flores 2023 interview with Gazelle comedy. While working as a bank teller in the 20s, Flores said he was encouraged by the owner of a comedy temple to appear on the Aurora Venue open mic event.

“If you get that big pop, you get a stand-up bug and you are addicted,” Flores told outlets. “Since I went up the first time, I couldn’t stop.”

Flores launched its headlining Butterfly Effects -Kupu on January 10 in Portland. The comedian was determined to reach the stage in cities such as Nashville, Tennessee; Philadelphia; Austin, Texas; and San Diego until April. The next Flores show is scheduled for Thursday at Desert Ridge Improv in Phoenix, according to him Official website.

Regarding his career aspirations, Flores told Gazelle’s comedy that he wanted to “tour for the rest of my life, write new material, and make people happy.”

“There are many people like me around the world who think like me, and we don’t have a voice,” Flores said. “There is a Latin comic, like Gabriel Iglesias, but he is not like me. He does not grow on the hood. He is not a drug addict. He doesn’t grow like me, so he doesn’t talk to me.

“But there are many people that I can talk about for that, it is not really a voice in comedy. One of the things that makes me happiest is when people tell me, ‘This is the first time I went to a comedy show.”
