Amen Thompson (sophomore) and Reed Shepard (G League) will represent Rockets in the challenge of NBA Rising Stars in their All-Star Weekend 2025.
Amen Thompson and Reed Shepherd will represent Houston rockets In the annual challenge for rising stars During the weekend of NBA 2025 All-Star. The event will be held on Friday, February 14th, at the San Francisco Pursuit Center, House of Golden State Warriors.
Thompson was made by the missiles of # 4 as a whole in the first round in 2023, while Shepherd went to number 3 in 2024.

Each year, The Rising Stars Challenge includes four teams of seven players competing in a three -game tournament. The two semi -final matches are played to a target score of 40, while the championship game will be played to a target result of 25.
The pool of players consists of 10 recruits, 11 players of the second year and seven G League players. The 21 recruits and sophomores will be attracted by three teams, while the seven G League players will form the fourth team. The player’s project will be held on a later date.
NBA (Thompson) players were selected by an assistant coaches in the league, while the players of G League (Sheppard) were selected from the league office. Each team sent a bulletin to a rookie and a sophomore with the participation of four players on the front court, four guards and two additional players from each position.
