IMPACT100 Traverse City to host Ilearn’s first event in the Arts, Culture Challenges – 9 & 10 News

Traverse City – Impact100 Traverse City is set to maintain his inaugural event of Ilearn on January 30 by presenting a panel of local art leaders who will discuss the current state of the region’s arts.

According to a January 27 news announcement, the Ilearn session will be received by the IMPACT100 City Arts and Culture Committee from January 5-7 in the Janis House of the Dennos Museum Center in 1410 College Drive.

Local Art Leaders Panel will include:

  • Craig Hadley, Executive and Chief Director of the Dennos Museum Center Center (host)
  • Kristi Wodek, vice president of the arts center of distorted trees
  • Chad Lindsey, Executive Director of City Opera House
  • Katie Jones, Executive Director of Garden Theater

Panelists will include issues, including the challenges facing their organizations in the region, such as programming and the administration of the arts have changed since the pandemia, how the arts build strong community links and success stories from investing in the arts.

“Ilearn is an opportunity for community members and Impact100 TC to learn more about some of the challenges they face,” says Karin Jacobson, head of the Impact100 Travers Committee and Culture. “Hopefully, the additional information provided by Ilearn sessions will help members of the Impact100 TC to make more informed decisions when it comes to granting.”

Participants can also enjoy refreshments.
